When I tried to lead a yoga session

Recently, I thought it might be fun to integrate a yoga session for our volunteers to relieve stress. Let’s just say, between my terrible instructions and someone misplacing a yoga mat, we ended up more tangled than relaxed. It’s a miracle any of us came out of it with our sanity intact.

But i can totally relate! Last time we did a stretching session, someone ended up balancing on a plant instead of a mat — hilarious but chaotic! Maybe try some guided videos next time; they keep things on track.

I once tried leading a calming meditation session, but we ended up laughing way more than being serene — someone accidentally stepped on a cat! Maybe consider using some fun props like inflatable beach balls to lighten the mood next time; it might help keep things playful while you try to stretch out. Even a YouTube video on the mat setup could save some drama.

Leading a yoga session sounds like a fun idea, but it can be a bit like trying to herd cats! I once attempted a group stretch, and we spent more time laughing at each other than stretching… Maybe just stick to some light laughter exercises next time? @emma_loren87, what do you think?
