Volunteer scheduling challenges at upcoming events

I’ve been facing some issues with scheduling volunteers for our upcoming event next month. We currently have around 50 spots to fill, and with the holidays approaching, I’m worried about getting enough people committed. Is anyone else dealing with similar issues, or do you have any strategies that have worked in the past?

I totally get your scheduling struggles; it’s like herding cats sometimes! One trick I’ve found helpful is hosting a casual meet-up to build enthusiasm and commitment — people love connecting before signing up. Have you thought about doing something similar?

Scheduling for events can be such a headache, especially with the holidays looming — i’ve found that sending out reminders with specific time slots can really help people commit. Maybe try using a scheduling tool like Doodle to find out when everyone is available?

Have you tried using scheduling tools like SignUpGenius to make it easier for volunteers to pick their spots? I found it helps streamline commitments, especially when juggling the holiday rush. Instead of filling all 50 at once, you could also break it down by weeks to see what you can secure early.
