I’m discovering how vital feedback is for developing our volunteers’ skills. After a recent training session, I asked for input on what worked and what didn’t, and the insights were incredibly helpful. I’d love to hear how others incorporate feedback into their training routines.
I totally get it — feedback can feel daunting. After a training last month, I did an anonymous survey just to get the honest scoop from our volunteers. It was surprising how much they valued being able to share their experiences without pressure.
And it’s great that you’re prioritizing feedback! After my last session, I used a simple Google Form for anonymous responses — super easy and it gave us valuable insights on what really clicked with the volunteers. Sometimes, though, you might hear different perspectives; a one-on-one chat can reveal things that surveys miss.
