How to improve our outreach skills

I’ve been thinking about how we can enhance our community outreach efforts, especially when it comes to engaging new volunteers. I recently came across a great workshop happening next month that focuses on effective communication strategies. Has anyone attended similar sessions, and what were your takeaways? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I’ve found that sharing personal stories during outreach really helps connect with potential volunteers. It adds a relatable touch and shows the impact of our work. Have you thought about incorporating personal testimonials into your workshop?

That workshop sounds promising! I’ve found that using social media to share our volunteer stories really boosts engagement too. It’s all about making those connections feel real. @rochester_f92, have you tried that approach?
