We’re short two volunteers for patient discharge support on 4B this Thursday 1–4 p.m. and Friday 9–12, helping patients get safely to rides, pick up meds, and navigate exits. If you can step in, reply here and I’ll schedule you in Volgistics by 3 p.m. today so the care team can plan coverage.
I can cover Friday 9–12 on 4B — please add me in Volgistics by 3 p.m. From experience, I always confirm where the ride is waiting before we leave so we don’t zigzag while trying to “navigate exits”; if Thursday is still short, I can swap to that 1–4 instead.
Free for Thursday 1–4 on 4B — please add me in Volgistics by 3. Building on @w_knight99’s point, I call the ride as we leave and pick the closest exit with a curb cut so the wheelchair transfer’s clean; if the pharmacy window’s backed up, I grab a ticket first so we don’t lose our place.
Agree with @csanders91; for 1–4, I call pharmacy so meds are bagged — if lines are long, seat first.
I can be backup if something falls through before the 3 p.m. cutoff; otherwise, , the zigzag to rides drives me nuts — so like @w_knight99 I call ahead and ask for car color/plate, then take the 4B exit with the shortest curb cut. If meds are still processing, I park near that door and use the wait to double-check belongings and the med bag so we can roll as soon as the driver texts “here”.
I can take Friday 9–12 on 4B — feel free to slot me in before 3. I always “confirm the pickup spot before you roll” and, if the main elevators are jammed, use the side bank by imaging to save a few laps. If that slot fills, I’m happy to float as standby for any last‑minute discharge runs.
